To invite children and young people to discover and express Christian worship in ways meaningful to them.
To give each participant a small wooden conductor’s baton as a symbol: they too can “Take the Baton” of worship.
To recognize children and young people who are already worshipping and to encourage them.
To bring the original engraved baton into schools, colleges and churches as part of the event, and to provide a 3D design of the baton so that schools and colleges can build their own model if they have a 3D printer.
To connect schools and local churches by displaying children’s prayers publicly, encouraging a sense of shared faith and community.
To pass the Baton of worship to the next generation of children and young people.
